Our WordPress website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The server processes technical access information such as your IP address, requested page, time, browser and operating system to deliver the website, maintain security and investigate faults. Photos, videos and fonts used on this website are served locally; the videos do not connect to YouTube or Vimeo.

Contact and hunting enquiries
When you send a form, we process your name, email address, optional phone number and message to answer your enquiry. Hunting enquiries also include the number of hunters and accompanying guests and the requested arrival and departure dates. Your message is passed to info@klipkop-namibia.com through our email system. Only provide information needed for your enquiry; please do not send passport copies, payment card information or sensitive health details through the form. For dietary requirements, we can agree a suitable way to exchange the necessary information.
To limit automated spam, the form uses a hidden validation field and a short-lived request limit based on a protected identifier derived from the IP address. Form submissions are not used to subscribe you to advertising.
Purposes and legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing for enquiries about a stay and its arrangement is based on Article 6(1)(b); technical security and other correspondence on Article 6(1)(f); statutory duties on Article 6(1)(c). Any optional processing requiring consent is based on Article 6(1)(a). Required fields are marked with an asterisk. Without the information needed for an enquiry, we may be unable to respond or prepare an offer.
Recipients, location and retention
Your enquiry is handled by the people responsible for guest enquiries at Klipkop in Namibia. Hosting, technical support and email providers may process information to provide their services. We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to answer the enquiry, arrange a stay or resolve related questions. Where legal retention duties or the establishment or defence of claims require further storage, the information is retained for those purposes. Technical access logs follow the hosting service’s retention settings.
Contacting us means that your information will be received and processed in Namibia, outside the European Economic Area. This may involve a different level of statutory data protection. Please contact us if you need further information about the handling of your enquiry.
Cookies and external services
WordPress uses necessary cookies for authorised sign-in and site administration. We do not use advertising trackers or embed external maps, social-media widgets or video platforms on these pages. External links, including Google Maps, WhatsApp and the official visa portal, connect to the respective provider when you open them. If you use WhatsApp, your contact and message information is processed within that service; you can use email or the contact form instead.
Online booking through Beds24 is not currently enabled. The booking button leads to our accommodation enquiry section and does not load a Beds24 frame. Before online booking is enabled, the associated privacy and booking information will be provided.
Currency conversion
For hunting and activities, selecting a foreign currency connects your browser to api.frankfurter.dev and its technical infrastructure; your IP address is required for transmission. No form, contact or booking data is sent. Rates with their dates and your currency choice are stored locally in your browser to keep the selection on both pages and show the last saved rate if retrieval fails. No rate request occurs before your first currency selection. You can delete this local data in your browser’s website settings.
Your rights and contact
Where the legal requirements apply, you may request access, correction, deletion, restricted processing or data portability, object to processing, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. Send privacy requests to info@klipkop-namibia.com. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. We do not make automated decisions about bookings.
